Working with JouleSpecs
On JouleSpecs every product has a sheet with figures taken one by one from your own documentation, each with its URL and date beside it. People who come here are not looking for a model: they are trying to work out how much energy they need and whether it pays off. If you make storage, inverters, panels or accessories, here is how we can work together — and the terms, stated plainly before we start.
One condition is not negotiable: no commercial arrangement influences editorial judgements. We do not sell favourable opinions, we do not remove verified critical notes, we do not offer privileged placement. If you cannot accept that, better to know before you write to us.
Current status, no beating around the bush
JouleSpecs currently has no active affiliate arrangement with any manufacturer. Proposals are welcome, but a partnership does not change how a product is published or assessed: it goes in because someone is genuinely considering it, not because it carries a commission.
Affiliate programs support the site: we're happy to accept them, and they don't change a single word of our assessments. A discount for readers who come from here? Always welcome, never required.

Affiliate program / discount code
Do you have an affiliate programme and want to propose it for your products? Write to us: a discount code or a bundle reserved for people arriving from here is always welcome, never required.

Report a wrong value
Have you spotted a wrong specification on one of our sheets? Correcting it is the highest priority, partner or not. We need the source: without a verifiable document we cannot update it.

What happens to the data you do not publish
They stay empty, and the sheet says why: «not stated by the manufacturer». We do not estimate, we do not infer from the neighbouring model, we do not copy from shops. In this catalogue the silences outnumber the stated values, and hiding them would give a false impression of completeness.
Three figures on their own change the outcome of our calculations, and they are the ones most often missing: usable capacity (not just nominal), the cycles together with the remaining capacity they are measured at, and the warranty's limits — years, energy throughput and any guaranteed capacity. The cost of stored energy is computed from those numbers: when the warranty is short, the calculation says so, and it says so with the formula in the open.

They're stated: whoever waits knows what to expect. These are working days.

What we never do
- We do not take payment for writing favourable judgements.
- We do not remove verified critical notes at a brand's request.
- We don't change assessments in exchange for commercial agreements.
- We don't grant privileged positions in comparisons or results.
- We don't hide affiliate links: every commercial relationship is disclosed.
- We do not publish product tests we have not carried out: we have no laboratory today, and we do not pretend otherwise.
